Henri Lavalette 1866 - 1938
purchased via Capt. Peter Johnston-Saint, Rue Ecole de Medicine, Paris, France; lived at 11-13 rue de l'Ecole-de-Medecine, Paris, France; he collected tattooed human skins dating from the first quarter of 18th century-1920s. Many were from the skins of sailors, soldiers, murderers and criminals of all nationalities and were cured and prepared for his collection.
