1889 - Company Founded and they took over 777 Commercial Road, Limehouse, London, E14. 1907- Thomas Rayner left the company, but the company continued. 1927- Became a Private Company. 1955 - Became a Public Company. 1972 - Operations were permanently transferred to Watford (after using this base during the war). 1993 - Went into liquidation process (complete in 1995). 2005 - Ovivo acquired Caird and Rayner Clark in Nov as a ‘Heritage Brand’
