1945 - Found by Gilbert Tomes and Alec Tidmarsh as '20th Century Electronics';.

1949-06-22 - becomes a limited company, registered name is Twentieth Century Electronics Limited;

1953 - moves to premises near Croydon.

1978 - company starts to trade as Centronic, with registered company name 'T C Centronic Limited'. In same year, Centronic Optical Systems Limited is created to manufacture light measuring instruments.

1981- company number 00469940, name changed to Centronic Limited

1985 -11-01 - company number 01931246, name changed from 20th Century Electronics Limited (to 'Centronic Ltd'?)

1985 - company moves to Didcot, Oxfordshire.
