Bohemian General active during the Thirty Years War. In 1617 he was allied with the Ferdinand II, who became Holy Roman Emporer in 1619, against Venice. In 1621 he received his first independent command and fought against the prince of Transylvania. Due to military and polital maneuverings he was charged with high treason by Holy Roman Emporer Ferdinand III and assassinated in 1634.
