Authorised on 30 March 1922having acquired the North Wales Narrow Gauge and the Portmadoc, Beddgelert and South Snowdon RAilways in 1922. Lone opened on 1 June 1923 but was not a success and the line closed 1931. Festiniog Railway leased the line from 1934 but closed it to passenger in 1936 and goods in 1937. The company wound up in 1944.
