Bodmin and Wadebridge

Incorporated on 23 May 1832, this was Cornwall's first locomotive railway. It opened between Wadebridge and Dunmere on 4 July 1834 and through on 30 September. It was 'acquired' by the L&SWR in 1847, remaining in its hand util the situation was legalised by an Act of 25 June 1886.
