Incorporated on 23 July 1860, opened to Llanrwst on 17 June 1863 and to Betws-y-Coed on 6 April 1868. It was worked by the L&NWR which was determined to take it over. Working arrangements were authorized by an Act of 28 July 1863 and the company was finally dissolved and vested on 15 July 1867.
