Formed when AEI Hotpoint and EMI merged their domestic appliance division, this included the trade brand Morphy-Richard. Succeded by Hotpoint and now Glen Dimplex.. Manufacture originally at St Mary Cray, Kent, moved to Swinton Works in Mexborough, South Yorkshire.
