Burry Port & Gwendraeth Valley Railway 1859 - 1922

Name was mispelt from the Act of Parliament which created it. Opened as a mineral line from Burry Port to Pontyberem and on to Cwmmawr in 1869. Opened to passengers 2 August 1909. It was absorbed into the Great Western Railway in 1922.
