National Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis

Orignally called the National Association for the Prevention of Consumption and other forms of Tuberculosis; 1959 name changed to Chest and Heart Association to reflect the changing nature of the association; 1976 - The Chest, Heart and Stroke Association (CHSA); 1992 - name changed to the Stroke Association
