Konica merged with Minolta in 2003 to form Konica Minolta Holdings, Inc.; closed photographic processing arm (color film, color paper, photo chemicals and digital minilab machines) in 2006; Dai Nippon purchased Konica's Odawara factory site and continues to produce paper under its own brand, while Seapac acquired the Konica chemical factory; digital SLR section transfered to Sony; continues to manufacture imaging equipment and multi-function printers.
