In the foreground at left is a man, seated, with a woman and child. They are talking to a woman on the back of a pony. There is a basket on the ground alongside, perhaps for collecting shellfish. A boy walks across a lock gate, while nearby two men converse. There are sailing boats beneath the arches of the bridge, and large sailing ships in the basin beyond. Pasted on card.
