Two-stroke Pullin motor cycle, 1919, incorporating pressed steel frame and front forks. This Pullin-Groom motorcycle carries the 1920 C. G. Pullin and S. L. Groom patent, which included the 2-stroke engine, a pressed steel frame and front forks with springs to both wheels and chain drive through a two-speed gearbox. The Pullin-Groom catalogue boasted a new frame and design specifically created for the ease of a male or female rider. This was clearly not just a 'boy's toy' and was also aimed at a post-war female market. Motor cycle Road Transport 1919

Bronze medal, Victory Medal, 1914-1919, awarded to Private J.S. Munro, R.A.M.C., W. Mcm...[William McMillan], artist, English, 1919. The obverse is inscribed with an image of Victory, the classical winged goddess of Victory or Athene Nike. The reverse is inscribed THE GREAT WAR FOR CIVILISATION, 1914-1919, surrounded by a laurel wreath. The medal has a suspension ring for the attachment of a rainbow coloured ribbon [not present]. The medal is made of bronze lacquered copper and was made by Wright & Son or the Royal Mint at Woolwich Arsenal. Awarded to those who served during WW1 usually to accompany the Star and Service medals. The trio of medals were colloquially known as Pip, Squeak and Wilfred.
