Painting, oils on canvas, Building Matilda Tanks at Horwich by Norman Wilkinson, about 1942. Depicts the construction of Matilda Mark 2 tanks at the London, Midland & Scottish Railway's Horwich Locomotive Works. Fitters are working on a line of tanks in the erecting shop. Some have their engine covers raised. In the foreground are components and tools, and above are overhead cranes. The nearest tank is T191463. Signed at bottom right. Created for the LMS at War series. Unframed.

Painting, oil on canvas, Essex Watermill, by Terence Cuneo, 1942. Depicts a view of a watermill from the banks of a stream. In the foreground the banks are lined with colourful flowers, with a brick bridge at the centre. Above is the mill, with white-painted wooden walls. At the top of the winch house is a weathervane, set against a blue sky with white clouds. The watermill featured is the Grade II* listed Hallingbury Mill, Little Hallingbury, Bishop's Stortford, on the River Stort (built 1874, closed 1952). Framed, 614mm x 815mm.

Servicemen and fashionably dressed women are either entering the cinema or walking past on the station concourse. An ARP (Air Raid Precaution) warden stands at left, while at right an elderly gentleman looks at his watch. On top of the kiosk at the entrance to the cinema are figures of the Walt Disney characters Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck. Signed by the artist at bottom right, title at bottom.
