T10 or Tina motor scooter
Triumph 'Tina' or T10 motor scooter, registration no. ONK45D, 1966. The Triumph Tina was the Triumph Motor Company’s attempt to get involved in the lucrative British scooter market of the 1960s. They were released in 1962 amongst internal opposition that felt the Tina could be detrimental to Triumph’s macho image. An extensive marketing campaign followed fronted by the pop star, Cliff Richard. However sales continued to be poor, and in 1965 the name of the model was change to T10. But sales did not pick up and the scooter was discontinued in 1970. This is an example of the T10, which was essentially the same vehicle as the Tina, but with a less feminine name.

'Jason' nuclear reactor control panel, from Royal Naval College
Control panel for the Jason nuclear reactor installed in Royal Naval College, Greenwich, made by Elliott-Automation Limited, Borehamwood, England, 1961-1962. The control panel was used to train nuclear submarine officers. Jason was an Argonaut type reactor of 10kW maximum power enriched-uranium fuel, water moderated and cooled, graphite reflected system and was second hand when installed at RNC in 1962. The control desk was last used in July 1995 when the reactor was shut down for the last time. It was powered by 3-Phase at 415 volts.

Compound pulley device for elbow lock control. 31 gramme CO2 gas cylinder in leather holster, carried on trouser belt. Made by Steeper 1964.
