No 015347. In original carton with Kodak directional microphone and wriststrap (carton not seen 2011). bought in a camera shop in 1976 for £64.07. The Kodak Ektasound 130 was the first camera designed to record sound simultaneously with picture onto magnetically-striped Super 8 Ektachrome film.

Raleigh 'Chopper' Mk2 bicycle. The Chopper is one of the most iconic children’s bicycles and was first produced in 1968. Its design resembled an American Harley Davidson motorcycle and was unlike anything on the market, its success also helped by the film ‘Easy Rider’ released in 1969. This is a Mark 2 Raleigh Chopper, first produced in 1971 in response to safety concerns, and differing most notably with un-adjustable handle-bars and a shorter seat with a warning that only one person should sit on it at a time. The Chopper Mark 2 continued to be produced until 1984. However this wasn’t the end of the Chopper, and it once again returned to shops in 2004 with the Mark 3.

Magnavox Odyssey 2 games console in original packaging, 1978. Second-generation video game console released by Magnavox (a subsidiary of Philips from 1974) using programmable ROM cartridges. Included a full alpha numeric keyboard as well as joystick console. Also known as the Philips Videopac G7000, the Odyssey 2 was a direct rival to the Atari 2600 and Mattel Intellivision in the early second generation of games consoles.

Volmer VJ 23E powered hang-glider, designed by Volmer Jensen and Irving Culver. This was built by David Cook in 1973, and used by him to become the first man to fly a powered hang glider across the English Channel.
