Headboard (replica), London & North Eastern Railway, "Flying Scotsman", A4-type black letters on white background, between London Kings Cross and Edinburgh Waverley, officially adopted in 1923, ran non-stop to Newcastle from 1927 and non-stop to Edinburgh from 1928. This is a replica of the headboard designed by Eric Gill and attached to the train 21st Nov. 1932.
