Volmer VJ 23E powered hang-glider, designed by Volmer Jensen and Irving Culver. This was built by David Cook in 1973, and used by him to become the first man to fly a powered hang glider across the English Channel.

Binocular stereoscopic camera no. 12, made by John Benjamin Dancer, Manchester, c.1856 and probably owned by Joseph Sidebotham in the 1860s. Rear plate holder removeable. Focussed by turning milled nut on top. Fitted with a focal plate shutter as well as a front of lens shutter. Missing spirit level, brass plunger for changing plates and changing box.

De Havilland 4-Blade Propeller
This 4-blade propeller was made by De Havilland Airscrews, under licence from Hamilton Standard, probably for fitting to a 4,000-horsepower (3,000-kilowatt) Rolls-Royce Tyne turboprop engine. Four Tyne engines powered the Vickers Vanguard airliner and Merchantman freighter. These aircraft were in service between 1961 and 1996.

Slotting machine, made by Sharp Roberts and Co., Manchester, 1835. Constructed from cast iron on sort of arched frame design. Table with cross and front to back movements placed in middle with slotting arm above it. Three stepped pulley and hand wheel on drive cross shaft to gears on left with a secondary shaft working the slotting arm. Operating arms are missing from the cam to the rachet levers.

Peugeot Track Bicycle
Peugeot track bicycle formerly hired out by National Cycle Centre for use at the Velodrome, Manchester, 1996-2007. 84-inch gear, fixed wheel track cycles, without brakes, made from Reynolds 531 steel tubing. Originally painted in yellow and blue, but this was replaced with the blue and green official colours of the National Cycling Centre.
