Armchair, London & North Eastern Railway, brown upholstered chair with curved back with small brass plaque on back: "This chair was used by Sir Nigel Gresley. Chief Mechanical Engineer. LNER 1923-1941", believed to be from Gresley's King's Cross office, where it remained after his death when the Chief Mechanical Engineer's office was moved to Doncaster, subsequently used by Rupert Hart-Davies and finally ended up in the electrical engineers offices.
