Two-stroke Pullin motor cycle, 1919, incorporating pressed steel frame and front forks. This Pullin-Groom motorcycle carries the 1920 C. G. Pullin and S. L. Groom patent, which included the 2-stroke engine, a pressed steel frame and front forks with springs to both wheels and chain drive through a two-speed gearbox. The Pullin-Groom catalogue boasted a new frame and design specifically created for the ease of a male or female rider. This was clearly not just a 'boy's toy' and was also aimed at a post-war female market.
