Siemens B 16mm Magazine Cinecamera
Siemens 16mm magazine cinecamera. Made in Germany, sold by James A Sinclair & Co Ltd, 3 Whitehall, London SW. This cine camera was made for 16mm film in Siemens magazines. It has a Busch Glaukar Anastigmat 2cm f/2.8 lens, Serial No 363726, with a focussing scale under the lens and an exposure guide to its left. The clockwork motor runs at 8, 16 and 64 frames per second, as well as a single frame facility. There are direct vision and reflecting optical finders and a footage counter. Stamped on side 'L. H. L.'

In this example, the shape of the casing was designed to minimise the acoustic ill-effects of its large size.

The nameplate is curved to fit the wheel splasher, with a cast brass figure of a fox above the letters. The fox is running from right to left, indicating that the nameplate was fitted on the left side of the engine.

This could expose less than half the film at one winding. The camera has a folding optical frame finder and a metre counter.
