The sample consists of small spherical pellets of brown, processed microbial protein material. The sample is contained within a small, rectangular plastic pouch, with a printed yellow label with the Pruteen brand and company logo.

Paillard-Bolex H16 cine camera with fitted case, instructions and pistol grip. It has a three lens turret; Kern Yvar F=16mm f/1:2.8, Serial No 154788; Kern Switar F=25mm f/1.4, Serial No 156462; Kern Yvar F=75mm f/1:2.8 lenses, Serial No 150601; all three lens by Kern-Paillard, Switzerland. Clockwork-driven camera for 16mm film on 100 foot spools; claw intermittent and two continuous sprockets. It can be run at 8, 16, 24, 32 and 64 frames per second. Single frame and over frame exposure facility and time and instantaneous exposures. The camera has a back-wind facility (for double exposures/fades, etc). The direct vision optical finder is mounted at the top of the camera, with a critical reflex focusser situated behind the top lens on the turret.

A photograph of Professor Albert Einstein (1879-1955), taken by Leslie Cardew for the Daily Herald newspaper on 24 July 1933. Einstein is sitting outside a small wooden cottage somewhere between Esher and Cobham, England. He was the guest of Commander Oliver Locker-Lampson MP, who sits on the ground next to the professor carrying a shotgun. During 1933 Einstein travelled in Europe visiting Oxford, Glasgow, Brussels and Zurich. Offers of academic posts which he had found it so hard to get in 1901, were plentiful. He received offers from Jerusalem, Leiden, Oxford, Madrid and Paris.

Dead-beat escapement longcase clock by Thomas Vickery in a solid oak case. The painted brass dial shows the hours and minutes, equation-of-time, times of sunrise and sunset, the age and phases of the moon, position of the principal constellations, the sun' s place in the ecliptic and has a perpetual calendar. The three-train movement strikes the hours and chimes the quarters. The musical train plays every three hours, a different tune every day: a hymn each Sunday. The tunes chosen are those played by Bath Abbey clock, Bath being Vickery’s birthplace. Seconds pendulum with invar rod. Bridgnorth, Shropshire, 1931
