Pedometer in a silver-plated case. Blued steel hands. Frosted silvered dial inscribed “PASSOMETER J.H. STEWARD 406 STRAND LONDON.” Outer ring marked up to 100 yards, the subsidiaries recording 1000s and 10000s of yards. Gilt brass and blued steel movement marked with a six-pointed star. Screw pace adjustment. The case numbered 13 and lettered A. “2238”, “0175” & 35/-“ scratched inside back cover. Early 20th cent. 44mm dia.
