Drawings, 229 architectural drawings, mostly linen-backed cartridge paper, some with colour wash, plus wax linen copies, various sizes, Newcastle New Bridge Street Goods Station Drawings, made and used in the Architect’s Office of the North Eastern Railway / London & North Eastern Railway, 1906-1940. The drawings relate to the construction and alteration of the goods station, warehouse and offices at New Bridge Street in Newcastle-on-Tyne. The intial set was made in 1906, with subsequent alterations and additions dating up to 1904. The drawings were transferred to the NRM from the Plan Room of Hudson House, York in August 1985 on the sale of the warehouse by British Rail.
