Distorted in shape, with some of the contents spilled out onto the base of the first-aid tin. Stored in giffy bag not original to the object, which is stuck to the base of the first aid kit. Stored inside the first aid kit, used by Rear Admiral R.E. Byrd on exploration flight to the Antarctic, 1930. Made by Burroughs Wellcome and Co., United States, 1928-1930.
