One of two "Chinese-Roman" foot measure plaster casts, size (7/8-inch x 7/8-inch x 5/16-inch), of fragment of wooden linear measure, from Asthana, Chinese Turkestan, A.D.667-706. Face incised with 6 subdivisions. Reverse face, at end, incised with a Chinese character (Roman fot of 11.67", decimally divided by Chinese). Original now in the Central Asian Museum of Antiquities at New Delhi, India
