Notes on wagon types, codes, coaching stock and parts, materials etc., dates from pre-nationalisation when Mr. Carroll was at Dewsbury Junction & Wakefield Carriage & Wagon Depot; 2. Condemned Wagons, contains details and dates of condemned wagons 1974-1975; 3. pocket book containing notes on wagons, movements, repairs, accidents etc. 1981; 4. notebook containing simialr details of wagons, derailments etc. 1983. Accompanied by a set of colour snapshots of wagon derailments, some of which are identified and can be related to entries in the notebooks.

The digital Nicam 728 transmission standard talkback receiver and Nicam speech coding and data encoding module. This was developed by TV-AM plc in 1992-93 at the time they operated a studio at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television (currently National Science and Media Museum) in Bradford. The system was used by several UK broadcasters.

The digital Nicam 728 transmission standard, which conveyed stereo to most of the UK in the 1990s, presented an alternative. The bitstream was encoded in the syncs of the baseband video signal; modulated on to a subcarrier above the video. This was developed by TV-am plc in 1992-93 at the time they operated a studio at the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television in Bradford. The system was used by several UK broadcasters.
