Commemorative items for the 150th Anniversary of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway
Collection of a number of original items related to the Great Railway Exposition held in 1980. The collection also contains a photocopy of a report entitled ‘The Liverpool and Manchester Railway’ published by James Cropper in 1830, and a typed transcript of a letter sent in 1835 about a journey taken on the railway.
