Collection of Material relating to BBC GMR Radio

Archive material relating to BBC GMR Radio (later BBC Radio Manchester), including telegrams, press cuttings, a recipe book, posters and promotional material, photographs of the station and the presenters. The collection includes a sleeve for a vinyl record, a 45" vinyl record by Billy Fury, a file of documents concerning 'The Manchester Show' and material relating to the charitable activities of the station, particularly raising money for The Christie Hospital.
