Answer of the Directors to an Article [by Dr. Lardner] in the Edinburgh Review, for October, 1832, Liverpool, 1832. Also a photocopy of Lardner's article 'Inland Transport' in the Edinburgh Review. The article by Dr. Lardner and the Answer by the Directors of the L & M are a fine example of the cut and thrust between proponents and opponents of railway schemes in the 1830s.
