Letter describing the death of Vivian's son, Andrew and his own attempts to sell his share in the joint patent of 1802

Vivian proceeds to explain that if not for the want of money, he would not part with his share of the joint patent for the sum offered by Trevithick. He 'impowers' Trevithick to make an offer to Sir William Curtis for £4000 for his share, and to receive £1000 if Trevithick succeeds against Mr Dixon.
