Notebook containing information about running restrictions on the newly formed Southern Railway network

This notebook contains running restrictions imposed on certain locomotives on the Southern Railway network, as a result of the grouping. Many locomotives built prior to the grouping were not designed to comply with the requirements of other lines, and as a result their size, weight, power or wheel arrangement could prevent them from travelling on certain parts of the network. Holcroft was tasked with considering this problem, and ascertaining where locomotives could or could not be used.
