This sub-series contains black and white 35mm negatives and contact sheets from the project "A Day Off" by Tony-Ray Jones, which was published as a book (of the same title) by Thames and Huden in 1974. "A Day Off" was a series of photographs about English customs, carnivals, leisure and shows.
The boxes contain approximately 2,800 black and white 35mm negatives and associated contact sheets.
