A letter from Peel, Williams and Peel, Soho Ironworks and Forge, Manchester, to Coates and Wright, Ingleton near Kirby Lonsdale, dated 22nd August 1835, informing them that the steam engine they have ordered has been dispatched. There is also an attached list of components for the engine that had been transported to Lancaster by John Hargreaves. There are 48 components listed along with four additional boxes of parts.
