A collection of microfilm copies of reports produced by Petrochemicals Ltd and their consultants relating to the progress of the new refinery and research into the products and processes associated with it. This includes Chief Chemists reports for March to July 1955, analytical reports, chemical division reports, monthly progress reports for November to May 1953, Partington research laboratory reports, reports from R.S. Aries and Associate, Brooklyn, reports on the production of Erinoid and Oxirane, and reports from Petrocarbon Ltd. Beyond this there are audio recordings of interviews with Martin Ruhemann and Dr Levi on the early days of work at the Carrington refinery.
