Sepia coloured portrait photograph showing an unidentified male sitter. The sitter is bearded, wearing a morning suit with one hand on his hip. He is standing alongside a table with an ornate chair in the background. The card is branded 'James Mudd Manchester' and has a 'Mudd Photographer, 10 St Ann's Square, Manchester' rising sun trade mark to the rear. The trade mark is dated March 1st 1865.
