Photographs owned by Lewis Morley including childhood snapshots

Photographs and printed images from Lewis Morley’s personal collection. Some of the photographs are signed or annotated. Also includes some images taken by Morley and signed by the subject.

Includes one file and one small box containing images of Morley when younger, photographs taken by Morley of Beth Orton as well as photographs of Morley taken by M Thompson, Morley with Peter Cooke and with Dudley Moore, Morley with actor Walter Shawn, Morley with Barry Humphries, Morley with mother and brother, Morley in Paris and some photographs from the early 1900s. Contains photograph of Morley at the Stanley Internment Camp as a child with accompanying letter from a friend.

Also includes three files of photographs and printed images of Morley taken by other photographers and photographs sent to Morley by friends and acquaintances. Some photographs may have been purchased by Morley for his own collection. Includes many photographs of Morley taken throughout his career plus photographs by Jon Lewis, Mervin L Fitzhenry, Barzilay, Samual Tang, plus many by unidentified photographers.
