Cloth amulet to be worn around the neck, to protect against toothache, snake bites and rabies, picture of St. Dominic(?) sewn to front, possibly Spanish, 1800-1920

This simple cloth amulet was worn around the neck and was said to protect the wearer from toothache, snake bites and rabies. The figure stitched into the cloth is a saint who believers would call on for protection against disease and cures for illness.
