This oxygen injection set was designed for hypodermic oxygeno-therapy. This is the intravenous administration of oxygen as a medical treatment. The apparatus was named after its inventor, Dr Bayeux. It was made by Jules Richard in Paris. It was popular during the early 1900s and treated illnesses including tuberculosis.
