Nickel Mond medal commemorating the company's 25th anniversary, 1925. 45mm diameter, in red case 8x7.5x2cm inscribed `The Mond Nickel Co Ltd 1900-1925'. Obverse, figure of Nickel, 'a mischievous demon', symbol for the element, leaping through flames tossing pellets of nickel from hand to hand. signed PM. with Latin inscription, Tum primum cognita praepes subvolat [then for the first time a winged thing sprang aloft]. Reverse, legend The Mond Nickel Company Limited 1900-1925 with entwined emblems of daffodils for Wales and maple leaves for Canada.
