Token, copper, 28mm diameter. Coalbrookdale halfpenny, 1792. Issuer Messrs. Reynolds & Co., trading as the Coalbrookdale Iron Co., 1792, ½d. Obverse Iron bridge at Coalbrookdale. Reverse Inclined plane at Ketley. Notes William Reynolds invented the inclined plane at Ketley which linked the Ketley Canal with the Shropshire Canal, the difference in levels being some seventy feet.
