Terrestrial globe, made by I. Senex, F.R.S, London, England

The east coast of 'New Holland' (Australia) is not charted, and the small part of New Zealand present is incorrectly marked in position 42° S, 145° E; this is the approximate position occupied by Tasmania.

A movable metal ring, marked with the four cardinal points, circles the globe which is itself supported on a metal pillar; the wooden support for this pillar has been added in the museum.
