Known as ‘Bal Sathi’ this ‘capillary’ medication was a children’s health tonic used within Ayurvedic medicine. Ayurveda is a medical tradition. Its history reaches back over 2000 years. Its roots are in the Indian subcontinent. However, its influence has spread to other parts of the world. This children’s medication was imported into the United Kingdom from India during the 1970s.
