Inscriptions reads, 'ENERGY TABLETS/ (5 tubes each of 6 tablets)/ TO BE OPENED ONLY ON INSTRUCTIONS/FROM THE OFFICER IN COMMAND/The tablets should not be given to wounded men, neither should they be given to excitable/ or hysterical men or those whose minds are/ wandering: the tablets would make them worse/ If the conditions are very severe or there seems little hope/ of holding out for more thana few hours, start the/ tablets at once, giving two at sunrise, midday and sunset/...'
