Tin of Silbe tablets for asthma etc., by Silten Ltd., Hatfield, c.1969-1971

These tablets treated chest complaints such as asthma, bronchitis and hay fever. They were made by Hertfordshire-based Silten Limited. The tablets cost 22 ½p around 1970. They are typical of a huge range of relatively cheap treatments that were available ‘over the counter’ at pharmacists for many years.
