Coneuro nerve sedative was marketed as a ‘nerve tonic’. It was to be taken three times daily with one or two teaspoons of water. It was made by C. J. Hewitt and Son in London. The product was typical of medical preparations sold ‘over the counter’ in chemists across the country.
