Medicine chest, mahogany, supplied by Thomas Mills, Bakewell, Derby, containing 30 labelled glass bottles, 15 drawers of labelled powders and ointments (blistering ointment and unknown ointment in jar within lid, drawer containing 5 ointments in bottom left hand drawer inside front compartment), plasters (and leather for plaster in lid compartment, drawer in front cupboard containing plasters and bandages), lint, mortar and pestle, English, 1820-1880.
