Interior of the tube is lined with wax paper and contains a small amount of cotton, possibly obscuring traces of opium. Made by Burroughs Wellcome and Co., English, 1900-1910.

Manufactured by 'Savory and Moore, Chemists to the Queen, H.R.H. the of Wales, H.H. the Khedive of Egypt, and c.' The bottle probably dates between 1860-1890.
