Display model of Gazelle helicopter, Scale 1:10. Made by apprentice toolmakers at the Royal Aircraft establishment, Farnborough.

This is an apprentice model of the Gazelle helicopter. The SA-341, a lightweight observation helicopter, was designed in the 1960s by Sud Aviation in France. It was given the name Gazelle in 1969, and production batches were built by both Aerospatiale and Westland Aircraft Ltd from 1970. This model was made by apprentice toolmakers at the Royal Aircraft Establishment, Farnborough.
