Framed photograph of the Short Belfast Aircraft model being prepared for test in the 24 ft wind tunnel at the R.A.E. Farnborough. The Short Belfast was a heavy transport aircraft powered by Rolls-Royce engines which had a payload capacity of 80,000lb of freight or 150 troops. Only ten were built for the RAF, some continued to serve as civilian freighters.
